IHSW Results and Stitching Plans

Boyfriend pounced upon me on Friday with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and I didn't get as much stitched as I thought I would. We ended up going to a water park on Saturday, too. The rest of the weekend was spent stitching, reading, watching movies, and playing some old school Sega Genesis. My PS2 died this weekend. A sad, sad day. I forgot to post a picture of progress before IHSW. Terrible,  I know. Sorry! Either way, here you go:

So I've made some plans for stitching. Currently, I'm stitching two projects for my sister (Mario and Riding the Wave) and two secret projects for my parents (College of Magical Knowledge and Medieval Shelf). I really really don't like Riding the Wave. I just keep messing up on it and it's annoying me. Also, I would really like to be working on a project for myself. But I don't really want to be working on more than 3-4 projects at once (you guys are right, if I want to finish something, I need to stop starting things).

So here's my plan. I'm going to power through Riding the Wave when I'm not visiting Boyfriend. When I am, I'll be working on College and Medieval Shelf, but mostly College. Once I finish Riding the Wave, I'll restart Dark Queen, and that way I'll have one project for myself, one for my sister, and the ones for my parents.

That would mean that the plan for projects will be as follows (this is not including my whole stash, just kind of thinking about three projects ahead):
Riding the Wave -> Dark Queen -> Mystic Mermaid
Mario -> Hummers -> A Peacock and Doves in a Garden
College of Magical Knowledge -> Medieval Shelf -> Treasure Quest

Whew! Happy Stitching, all! Can't wait to see your IHSW results!

What a good Boyfriend! I've never recieved flowers from mine :( and we have been together for 5 years!! lol

Very nice progress during IHSW.

I am so glad I don't have multiple projects on the go at once. A stitching plan would just confuse me! haha

Happy Stitching

Great work on the wave, looks amazing! You made a lot of progress =)

Your stitching plans sound great, I hope you can manage to stick to them =)

My exboyfriend brought me flowers after we were together for about a year or so and he only did it because I told him that I wanted flowers... No jewelry, no clothes, no shoes, just a goddamn bucket of pretty flowers =(

Thank you! It's such a pain to stitch.

I hope I can stick to the plans, too. They seem fairly logical.

Boyfriend is a good Boyfriend. I asked him what the occasion was and he just answered, "seeing you" And ex-boyfriend are ex for a reason. I have a couple that I look back on and think "what WAS I thinking?"

Sounds like a good plan.
And a third horse appeared. Good job!

I stopped waiting for DB to bring me flowers, I now buy them myself! ;)

Lovely to receive flowers unexpectedly - you are lucky, he must be very nice.

Great progress on your stitching this weekend anyway. The horses are lovely.
