I managed to do a bit more on Mario this past week and weekend. I've kind of shifted gears and I don't let myself stitch until I've completed my "to do" list. It's agonizing, but it also means I get more done. Blergh being an adult.
I'm also super tempted to start Dark Queen, Mystic Mermaid AND Treasure Quest. I WANT! But I'm trying not to start a new project until I finish one. What do you guys think?
Now, for Mario. Before:
After:
Eye, nose, and mustache complete!
Happy stitching, everyone!

I voted for control yourself, even though I have none!!!! (To prove this, I have twenty projects in my rotation. Ack!!) I love your Mario. He looks great with an eye!! Keep up the good work!!
Thanks, Julie. I took the poll down cause I forgot to add one option and didn't want to go through the trouble of adding another option and blah blah blah. I'm so lazy... haha!
Great progress!
About starting a new one, if you really want to finish the ones you are already stitching, I would say don't start a new one. For me, I really want to finish what I have started, so I really need to be careful with my new starts even when it's really tempting!
But if you don't care about finishing: go for it!
Hi - came across your blog via the Stitching My First Haed Blog - your shameless plug did the trick! Liking all your different projects - looking forward to seeing their progress.
Mario looks amazing!! =)
Mhm I'm always doing my best not to start so many things at once... But it's just soooo tempting ;-) I really can't help you with that question =D
I usually only have 1 large project on the go but several small ones. That way I have a variety but manage to finish the large ones within a reasonable timeframe!
I vote for plugging on with Mario, maximum of 1 new start if you can't resist!
i know waht you mean about new starts and i love all these charts you have i would have caved for mystic mermaid, but only because i want that one, but then again i have not even finished a row on any of mine lol, well doen for stiking to no new starts
